ASHES 7/10/09
Okay, so I tell both the boys every single time we are at the camper to stay away from this ash pile where a fire ring once sat. This day was no different other than we had the John Deere Gator for them to ride around in. I didn't see what happened but the story goes "Luke was driving and Carter got in the bed, Luke took off" causing Carter to take a major faceplant right in the ashes. I could not believe my eyes and those of you who know me and my craziness about keeping my kids clean I almost had a melt down. I didn't know where to start! He had ashes packed in his ear! Carter did not want his picture taken but I insisted so I can say "see, this is why mommy tells you NOT to do something"! Lesson learned, only time will tell!
