SLEDDING 1/11/09

Ready to go down the big hill!

Not so ready to go down the big hill. It took him watching a few times before he was ready!

Okay, I'm ready now! He let out the biggest giggle on the way down.

Luke, just smile. When you say cheese you don't always look so cute!

Happy 2nd Birthday Reese

My little nephew Reese turned 2 on January 11th. The photos are when we were singing happy birthday to him. Grandma had to re-light the candles so Carter and Luke could blow them out. I t was a very good cake even with the extra slobber!

Christmas morning!

Say "Cheese" while everyone is feeling okay!

Carter pouting...it really sucks to share!

Luke not feeling good.

Christmas Eve at my moms!

The boys...Luke, Carter and Reese...their shirts say "I'm just a young buck".

These were all taken early evening when everyone was still feeling good. Carter started to complain of his tummy hurting around 8:30pm. I was a little nervous because I know that nasty flu has been going around. My nephews had it a week prior. Next thing I know I'm running with Carter to the kitchen sink because I could tell something was about to happen. After we packed up to come home he ended up getting sick a few more times until about 1:30am. Around 2am is when I set all the presents out while he slept on the floor. Luke was sleeping upstairs and Clark decided to go to bed. I took the couch with Carter on the floor beside me so I could be there if he needed me. I had trouble going to sleep because I was worried about him. He woke up around 3:45am and wanted some water and I could tell he was feeling better. We went back to sleep and around 5:30am Clark came downstairs carrying Luke and said "he just got in our bed and got sick"! My thought "this is not happening". Luke got sick several times but we all took a little rest until 8am and then they were up and ready for presents. We had to make a couple of pit stops during the gift opening for Luke to get sick or change his diaper. I was exhausted after only having a couple hours of sleep.
They were just okay the rest of the day and we didn't go anywhere. Friday came around everyone was still doing good so we decided to go to Clark's moms for Christmas. Carter ended up getting sick there so that's when we threw in the towel and said no more until they are perfectly well again. I changed Luke 12 times that Saturday and he was suffering from some serious diaper rash...I felt so bad for him. Sunday was by far the best day and I could tell they were feeling so much better. This Christmas did not go how I thought it would but we did get to spend a lot of time together. So after a lot of love and countless loads of laundry I had never been so happy to go back to work!

Christmas Eve!

Carter and I modeling the camo hats my mom got me!

Presents ready even with Carter lying on the floor sick.

Carter Christmas Eve with the trash can beside him...poor kid!

Our annual family jammy picture. New pj's every year for Christmas Eve. This was taken after Carter got sick so you can tell he wasn't feeling to well.

Luke modeling his new snow suit coat.
Some of these are out of order and I don't know why!

Christmas card pictures!

This one made the card.

And this one made the card.

This was our Christmas card session. Posing on an old sled. I waited until the last minute to have Clark bring the sled out of the basement so it would be new and exciting for the boys to play on. Carter was in the picture mood but Luke was not.
