Carter's First Day of Pre-School

Wednesday 9/3 was Carter's first day of pre-school at The Discovery Center. He is going to go Monday and Wednesday's 9am-12pm. I walked him in on his first day and I also picked him up. I didn't think it would be hard. It's only pre-school, right? Well, walking in he looked so cute and so big with his backpack on and he was so excited I couldn't help but hold back tears. He sat on my lap in the waiting area until the bell rang and I was trying so hard not to cry. I didn't want him to see me cry. I walked him back to his classroom, he put his stuff in his locker and he was ready to play. He settled very quickly and wanted nothing to do with me. Tearing up again, I figured it was time to get out of there before I made a scene. He had so much fun and seemed most excited about having Music! I'm so proud of him...time really does fly!!!

Happy Birthday Pa-Paw Greg!

What's For Dinner!

Okay, I'm a little late on this but I took a picture last week of our dinner. Nothing fancy just pork chops on the grill (added Lawry's seasoning). Baked potato, corn on the cob and fresh tomato that we grew along the side of our house...yum, yum!
